Refunds

If your F1 visa is denied or you do not enter the U.S. using UCLA Extension’s I-20, you may request a partial refund of fees paid.  Refund requests will be accepted through 5:00 p.m. PST on the first day of the quarter that you had planned to begin.  Please email the refund request to iso@unex.ucla.edu.

Refundable fees are:

  • $1,400 of the international student fee
  • Any health insurance fees paid

Non-refundable fees are:

  • Certificate Application fee
  • $600 of the international student fee
  • Express Mail Service fee
